Department of Mathematics
Mathematics has a long history and is continuing to develop. It is a science which provides the language and conceptual background for various branches of science. The Mathematics Department offers a wide variety of courses beginning with extensions of high school mathematics. Mathematical majors can develop programs in many different ways and pursue career paths in cryptography, insurance, economics and finances, and mathematics education
