University of Seoul Law School
The University of Seoul Law School was established in March 2009 in accordance with the new system
of legal education in Korea. Accredited from the massive permission competition, it is currently
evaluated as one of the leading public law schools among 25 law schools. It offers a
professional education of the highest quality that prepares its graduates for legal service in
law firms, government, business, and education. As being
partly devoted to the tax law program, the Law School provides a distinctive curriculum with emphasis on
the development of professional analytic skills. Each student will have
an opportunity to explore law and theory in an atmosphere that facilitates a spirit of
collaboration and cooperation. The diverse backgrounds and specialties of 27 faculty members
assure a wide variety of teaching skills and methods, including clinical instruction, courses
and workshops employing a problem solving method.
