Human Rights Center

  • Office Overview :
    For the protection and improvement of the members of University, Human Rights Center offers counseling, psychological inspection, supports for handling the incidents, and conduct various kinds of education, research and programs.

University Museum

  • Facillity Overview :
    The University Museum of UOS, which first opened in September 4, 1984, collects and exhibits precious cultural heritage items to support the educational activities of students, as well as to act as a cultural space for the locals. It plays its role as a "museum that satisfies its visitors" by promoting various activities and offering distinctive programs that can actively engage both students and locals. By managing museums, holding exhibitions, advertising educational programs, conducting research, and preserving historical artifacts, it is able to offer high-quality cultural services to students and locals.

University Health Center

  • Center Overview :
    In accordance with the School Health Act, the University Health Center aims to protect and improve the health of students and the faculty. Moreover, it maximizes the efficiency of university education by helping all students and faculty members maintain a healthy university life, receive medical treatment in a safe and clean environment, as well as offer equal opportunities for receiving such medical services.

University Press

  • Facillity Overview :
    In September 1997, the University Press emerged as a UOS affiliate by consolidating campus press organizations that were individually operated. As such, the University Newspaper, English Newspaper, and University Broadcasting Station came to be under the University Press. Currently, about 40 students are actively participating in various related activities such as the publication of the university newspaper, English magazine and broadcast of campus programs. Through such activities, the students attempt to deliver news from both inside and outside of campus in a professional manner. They try their best to contribute to the development of the UOS by “writing with reasonable arguments,” which is the basic mission of press, and by creating UOS’ own culture through creative and evaluative research.

University Dormitory

  • Facillity Overview :
    Our students’ living quarters offer 190 rooms for male students and 103 rooms for female students. Upon division of students by gender, room availability could vary. Each room has a width of 13 m and is designed to house two individuals. Also, each student will be given an individual bed, desk, chair, wardrobe, bookshelf, and bedsheet. For the computer, individual LAN line ports are installed. Rooms also have one A/C and telephone, as well as clothes hangers and dust bins.

Institute of International Cooperation Education

  • Facility Overview :
    The Office of International Affairs focuses on campus globalization and the improvement of the students’ global competencies to also improve the global competencies of UOS by offering educational programs in Korean language and culture to foreigners. Through various programs aimed to vitalize global networks, it is possible for our students to develop the ability to communicate with people abroad, understand and accept other cultures, and develop a more open mind, which is characteristic of a member of the global society. Moreover, by offering Korean language programs and various Korean culture-related activities to foreigners, the Office of International Affairs contributes to the globalization of the Korean language. The Institute also works to improve the understanding of Korea and Seoul as a part of the globalized world.
