The Law Research Institute, established in July 2007, aims to stimulate and
support research on theories and practices of law, and to disseminate the findings to students,
scholars, and the public at large. It also aims to promote social justice by providing counsel
and suggestions to the Seoul Metropolitan Government.
It holds several academic symposiums annually and publishes the Seoul Law Review. It is comprised
of three centers: Center for Tax Law, Center for Metropolis and Law, and Center for Law-related
Education for Citizens.
